
Speaking on behalf of the bank, uniBank’s Board chairman, Mr. Opoku-Gyamfi Boateng, told the audience that the new branch was part of uniBank’s plans to make “banking services accessible to many Ghanaians as possible.”
Mr. Boateng stated that the opening of the branch in western region would allow greater access to capital for the region, and this will allow for greater growth.
He promised that the Western Region will be met with unparalleled customer service emphasizing the competitive nature of uniBank in the face of existing financial institutions in the region and does not plan on stopping with the Takoradi Market Circle branch,
He assured the audience the bank will expand within the region to take banking services to almost everyone in the Western Region and access to loans that will allow them to expand churches, grow small and medium-size business and finish projects that would be impossible without credit facilities.
Mr. Boateng also indicated that access to capital through uniBank will allow the entrepreneurial spirit of the Western Region to flourish to enable a meaningful socio-economic development to take place,
