uniBank (Ghana) Limited has signed an agreement with Shareworld Travel and Tours, a leading travel agency to send Christian pilgrims who want to embark on pilgrimage to Israel.
The CEO of Shareworld, Mr. Isaac Kuffour had this to say “I am very happy that we have finally cemented this collaboration with uniBank and I hope that this arrangement would bring a lot of comfort and security to many traveling public”. By this arrangement, “prospective customers would pick application form from any uniBank branch nationwide, complete the form, and submit to the offices of Shareworld. Shareworld would be responsible for facilitating travel arrangements and documentation as well as hotel booking after the customer has made all payments.
The CEO of uniBank Mr. Ammishaddai Owusu-Amoah explained that, uniBank had done all the necessary due diligence and customers’ interest has been duly catered for in the arrangement. Mr. Owusu-Amoah stated emphatically that, “funds deposited in the escrow account would be paid to Shareworld only when Shareworld has provided material evidence of honoring their bargain of the contract with the pilgrims”. He expressed the desire of establishing similar partnerships with organizations which are committed towards offering excellent customer service to the Ghanaian.
The Israeli Co-ordinator expressed her willingness to make the arrangement a success. In her view, “Israel is an epitome of hospitality and she promised that the pilgrims would be ambassadors of Israeli culture after their return from Israel”.
